How is love stronger than jealousy in the Lady or the Tiger?

In the Lady or the Tiger, the bond between the man and princess was so strong that the princess was willing to see them together with her, she loved him and didn't want to see anything happen to him, and she wanted him to love her still.

My question is Which is a stronger emotion—love or jealousy?
