Using the cost method of pricing, what is the retail price of a music CD if the cost is $6.75 and the markup on cost is .35? Please round the answer to the nearest cent. $7.74<---my answer $10.55 $8.43 $9.11
is my answer correct to this?
@hartnn
i thinks its $9.11
Cost * %markup + cost = retail price (140-80)/80 = 60/80 = 0.75 for the 1st (80-46)/46 = 0.74 hmmm..i get 0.74 for 2nd which is not in the choices. 6.75*0.35 + 6.75 = 9.11 for 3rd
hmm so what should i do for the second xD
try 0.425...
