alright well if you just look at the link i gave u u will definitely get the answer : alternate exterior angles exterior means outside of two parallel lines so alternate exterior angles opposite side of transversal lines |dw:1443299612783:dw| in this example b and c are alternate exterior angles and alternate exterior are equal so you can write b=c
