The Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Turks took place from 1916 until 1918 and was led by Husayn bin Ali. What was Husayn bin Ali trying to accomplish in this revolt? He wanted to create a unified Arab state from Syria to Yemen. He wanted to take control of the Ottoman Empire. He wanted to establish a Muslim empire in the Middle East and Europe. He wanted to create a federation of all Muslim countries.
