3x - y/4 = 11 now we sub in our answer choices to see if they are correct (3,-8)...x = 3 and y = -8 3(3) - 8/4 = 11 9 - 2 = 11 7 = 11....nope...this is incorrect now try (4,4)...x = 4 and y = 4 3(4) - 4/4 = 11 12 - 1 = 11 11 = 11....this one is correct any questions ?
