let's do an example \[\huge\rm a_n=a_{n-1}+(n-1)^2\] when there are two children there can be only one interaction so children =n substitute n for 2 \[\huge\rm a_2=a_{2-1}+(2-1)^2\] inow solve right side if you get one 1 then b is ur answer
