Here's a startling point of view. Heart disease is still the number one cause of deaths around the world, yet it is not seen as bad (immoral) as being infected with HIV when both diseases are within the control of people. If we treated healthy diet and lifestyle as a whole as being a moral obligation for everybody, we would have a different conversation between government and churches.
