Aspherical tank with a radius of 0.32 m isfilled with water (p = 1000 kg/m'). Calculate the mass and the weight of the water in SI units.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Start by finding the volume of the tank \[V=\frac{ 4 }{ 3 }\pi r^3\] Then find the mass \[\rho=\frac{ m }{ V }\] Then weight (g = 9.8 m/s²) \[W=mg\]

thanks

v=.01373m^3 aswer multiplied by 1000= 137.3 kg

OpenStudy (anonymous):

V=0.1773 m³, but the mass is right so I assume that's a typo
