Always Sometimes or Never A midpoint bisects a segment

OpenStudy (mertsj):

What is a midpoint?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Imagine this as a line .________. A B A midpoint is a point in between point A and point B

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

well, "bisects" means to split in half, and the midpoint is the halfway point for a line segment, so what do you think the answer is?

Directrix (directrix):

My Geometry text states "The Midpoint of a segment is the point that divides the segment into two congruent segments." (Congruent segments have equal lengths.) @dani2018 Based on that additional information, do you think always, sometimes, or never? Post what you think, okay?
