If we are choosing the BEST response, I believe the question is best answered with c) Sons of Liberty, considering he was a founding member of this organization. Without him, it may not have existed. However, without Samuel Adams, the revolution most definitely would have taken place. Also, without the Sons of Liberty, Samuel Adams' involvement in the American Revolution would have been much more limited.
