A peanut manufacturing company pays $0.01 per square inch of label used on its cylindrical peanut containers. Each container has a radius of 1.5 inches and a height of 3 inches. If the label covers the lateral area of the container, how much would it cost to produce 400,000 labels? A. $4,000 B. $18,000 C. $84,823 D. $113,040

about 18k because you multiply 400k by 0.01. it gives you 4k but the label will not cover the whole container which is 3 inches. so you multiply 4k by 1.5 which is the radius. it will give you 6k. and 6x3 is 18 in which 3 is the size of the container. so the answer is 18k
