what is the image of C for a 90 counterclockwise rotation about A? Picture included

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (future_einstein):

the cordinates are -1,3 for point c

OpenStudy (future_einstein):

fan or medal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For the rotation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont particularly want the answer, I do, but I would also like to know how you got that for future reference

OpenStudy (future_einstein):

ok. :D

OpenStudy (future_einstein):

so, you count the number of units from A to C. Then you go ninety degrees clockwise and count the same number of units from A. and that will be were C is. Then you see what the cordinates are.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the correct answer actually is (-1,3) ?

OpenStudy (future_einstein):

ohhh its counterclockwise sorry than do it counterclockwise. And NO its not

OpenStudy (future_einstein):

i did clockwise so i could see if you could do counterclock wise

OpenStudy (future_einstein):

so... how many units is it from A to C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Uhm, crap. There are 4 units from a to c

OpenStudy (future_einstein):

correct.

OpenStudy (future_einstein):

now, go counterclockwise 90 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be 7,3?

OpenStudy (future_einstein):

Correct

OpenStudy (future_einstein):

Good Job!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Woah youre kidding. I just used like intuitive reasoning to see that from the graph they gave me. Right the hell on man

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks for your help[: Fan and medal for ya!

OpenStudy (future_einstein):

are you on an online assesment

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yea pretty much

OpenStudy (future_einstein):

did you get a 100?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not sure yet actually. Im on like question 20 of 35 for this test haha. I shall definately post an update to let you know [x
