If 10 coins are to be flipped and the first 5 all come up heads, what is the probability that exactly 3 more heads will be flipped?

OpenStudy (theloshua):

60% chance

OpenStudy (theloshua):

ignore the first 5 coins, they dont matter anymore. Its asking the chances of 3/5 coins

OpenStudy (theloshua):

3/5 = .6 60% chance

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks, but i dont think thats right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they are still reusing the 10 coins, they didnt take five out so i believe theres some other steps to it?

OpenStudy (theloshua):

ohhhh, I see, they all get reused 30% then

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nvm i got it. thanks @theloshua
