OpenStudy (anguyennn):

It depends

Thank you :) I wasn't sure at all. I thought it was opposite haha.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It depends.

Thank you GracieGrace!

Directrix (directrix):

~p means the negation of statement p. Statement p is It is not cold. The negation of p is: It is not NOT cold. That is, it is cold. >>It depends is incorrect. @tnjs28

I do not know for sure if temperature can be relative. But in this case i think it is safe to say that it is. So would the negation of (p) 'depend' on what you are comparing the magnitude of temperature to? @Directrix

Directrix (directrix):

I applied the rules of elementary symbolic logic. ~p is the negation of p and ~(~p) --> p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but you also said that 'it depends' is a wrong answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The correct answer was:it is cold
