(2,4)....x1 = 2 and y1 = 4 (0,2)...x2 = 0 and y2 = 2 d = sq rt (x2 - x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2 d = sq rt (0 - 2)^2 + (2 - 4)^2 d = sq rt -2^2 + (-2^2) d = sq rt 4 + 4 d = sq rt 8 idk...if he is looking for the distance between points A and B, he did it correctly. Unless he is looking for the distance between some other points
