Then why does it say "What is the value of the base in the power (-5)^-11?" If it wanted the value of the expression, "of the base" wouldn't be there. And the value of that particular expression is not \[5*5*5*5*5*5*5*5*5*5*5\]but rather \[(-5)*(-5)*(-5)*(-5)*(-5)*(-5)*(-5)*(-5)*(-5)*(-5)*(-5)\]
