SOMEONE PLEASE HELP I HAVE ASKED THIS QUESTION 6 TIMES AND NO ONE HAS EVEN BOTHERED TO HELP ME!!!!!!!!! Identify the class and noun function of the pronoun using the abbreviations from the chart. For intensive pronouns, put NONE for noun function. Mr. Smith gave it one more try before giving up on the mower. Noun function: Pronoun class:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is a pronoun class?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is this lol.

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Well, how about you identify the pronoun for starters...

OpenStudy (countrygirl1431):

im not sure i know the noun fuction is indirect object

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im pretty sure the pronoun in Mr. smith and it describes the person.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so personal pronoun? is that a thing?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

reflexive pronoun

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

"it" is the only pronoun in that sentence.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wrong^

OpenStudy (countrygirl1431):

giving makes it a indirect object i believe

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it would be subject pronoun

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because "it" refers to the mower

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

@mrqueest, what other pronouns do you see?

OpenStudy (countrygirl1431):

so would my answers be Indirect Object and Reflexive Pronoun

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@whpalmer you can't just make an arbitrary statement like that and not have any proof or backup

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

As I said, what other pronouns do you see?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats ur reasoning?

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Mr. Smith gave it one more try before giving up on the mower. Mr. Smith - proper name, not a pronoun gave - verb it - pronoun one - not a pronoun more - not a pronoun try - all the rest, not pronouns before giving up on the mower

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats a pronoun class

OpenStudy (anonymous):

jeez dude calm down I was joking, take a joke. My god you need to settle down @whpalmer4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

@countrygirl1431 I do not believe those are correct. reflexive pronouns end in -self or -selves.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its subject pronoun

OpenStudy (countrygirl1431):

so would that be like personal pronoun?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes!

OpenStudy (countrygirl1431):

and the other would be indirect object correct?

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

mmm...why do you think personal pronoun? what is the "it" being referred to in this sentence?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the mower

OpenStudy (countrygirl1431):

im still confused
