What's the formula for turning Celsius into Fahrenheit?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To convert temperatures in degrees Fahrenheit to Celsius, subtract 32 and multiply by .5556 (or 5/9).

OpenStudy (dranz10):

@KAKES1967 but how about Celsius into Fahrenheit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

https://www.mathsisfun.com/temperature-conversion.html ^ try this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Multiply by 9, then divide by 5, then add 32

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[F = C*(9/5)+32\] So, plug your degrees celsius for C in the above formula and solve. \[C = F*(5/9)-32\] Substiute degrees F for the F in formula and solve. FYI they are equal at -42.
