A triangle is roated 35 degrees about the origin. What is true about the relationship between the image and the pre-image? A) The lengths of the sides and the measures of the angles are preserved, so the triangles are congruent. B) The lengths of the sides are enlarged and measures of the angles are preserved, so the triangles are similar. (Then it says the triangles look nothing alike, and then the measures are reduced but the angles are the same, though I think it's A)

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

if a figure is rotated, the lenghts of sides, the angles remain the same. rotation is a rigid motion, so the figures will be congruent

Knew it, thank you!
