so what you want to start off doing, is moving everything to one side and letting the inequity to zero, as this way, we can factor out the quadratic, which will allow us to solve for x, so we should get... \[x^2 + 11x + 18 < 0\] do you see how I added 18 to both sides, so the right hand side cancelled, giving me zero? Now we have to factor the left hand side out, do you know how we could do this?
