What is the first step in solving this system of equations using elimination? y= 3/4x + 3 2x – 4y = 6 A. Write the second equation in slope-intercept form. B. Subtract 2x from both sides of the second equation. C. Write the first equation in standard form. D. Multiply the first equation by 3

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

I think that we have to rewrite the the first equation in standard form, so we get two equations like these: \(3x-4y=-3 \\ 2x – 4y = 6\)

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

now we can subtract the second equation from the first one
