What is the simplified form of x + 1/ x^2 + x - 6 divided by x^2 + 5x + 4/ x + 4

OpenStudy (barrelracing):

1 over the quantity x plus 3 times the quantity x plus 4 1 over the quantity x plus 3 times the quantity x minus 2 1 over the quantity x plus 4 times the quantity x minus 2 1 over the quantity x plus 3 times the quantity x plus 1

Nnesha (nnesha):

first of all do you know to factor the quadratic equation ?

OpenStudy (barrelracing):

no

Nnesha (nnesha):

alright well easy way to factor ot the quadratic equation is AC method where we should find two numbers when we multiply them we should get the product of AC and when we add/subtract them we should get middle term \[\huge\rm Ax^2+Bx+C=0\] a=leading coefficient b=middle term c=constant term

Nnesha (nnesha):

\[\huge\rm 1x^2+x-6\] leading coefficient is one so a= 1 b=1 c=-6 AC = -6 now find two number when u multiply them you should get -6 but when u add/subtract them you should get get 1
