Trevor had 4 small boxes of raisins to share equally among himself and 2 friends. How many boxes of raisins would each person receive?
plz help
hi! Welcome to OpenStudy!!! look. Trevor needs to share boxes among himself and his 2 friends. This means that there are three people to receive boxes of raisins. There are 4 boxes. The only thing I am not at - is it possible that they receive not whole box(es)? Or it is not possible to divide one box into several parts. If it is possible - then you just need to divide 4 by three. If it is not, then each person can receive only one box, because the whole part of fraction 4/3 is 1.
are there choices or not?
hold on
Trevor had 4 small boxes of raisins to share equally among himself and 2 friends. How many boxes of raisins would each person receive? A.1/2 B.3/4 C.4/3 D.2
see. there are fractions - so they meant that it is possible to divide one box on several parts. the answer will be C.
THANK YOU SOOOO MUTCH
