Question

I got really nervous today when I noticed someone writing answers to a CA assignments, I was trying to search up the subject I needed help with and I wasn't expecting plain out answers, and that's not what I want. I panicked mostly because I know that the CA can see what website we've visited while working, but does anyone know if CA students are not allowed to use openstudy? I really like the website (just joined today) and how I could help other people and get my brain really going for the day. But does CA have a rule against not being able to use this website? I don't want to get in trouble

I know there's been some problems with cheating with online schools like connections academy and flvs

@Vocaloid Yes, Connections Academy, I just enrolled this year and I due to health problems I had to start two weeks later than everyone, so when I found this website today it was actually a lot of help just reading other questions and understanding how to do the problem. (Especially in Geometry.) But when I saw the straight up answers I really panicked because I don't know if I'd get in any sort of big trouble for just seeing the answers.

@Vocaloid I did look over the policy again afterwards, but it just doesn't always seem clear, because sometimes a teacher will tell us otherwise, like that we would be able to use outside resources on the internet, and thank you, I hope so. I don't want to have to stop using this because of the answers that may pop up.

I'm no CA student nor do I want to say anything wrong looking at their honor code it seems that they don't want their content on this site.

@pooja195 Oh yes, I understand that, I actually don't normally even use the same question as the one is on the assignment. I will look around for something about maybe the quadratic formula or something over a short story we are reading. I am unsure if CA are allowed to be on here period. But yes I will contact my school about it tomorrow.

It depends getting help on what.

If it's a quick check thing, then I think you're good. But if it's a test, it's a no-no.

Also beware that we have CA moderators on here. :) @HS_CA is one of them :P
