Well all answers A, B, and D have very centered value, in other words they have to do with the soul of a person. They're very 'deep' quotes, meaning that they can almost relate to everyone in a very intense way, making it "universal" because it can be related to everyone.

Meanwhile answer C can't relate to everyone, not every person may think that fighting supernatural monster's is "epic".

So the answer that would not work for a universal theme would be...
