57miles--------->3gallons 1st we find the volume of gasoline required to travel 1 mile so we divide both sides of equation by 57 we get- \[\frac{ 57 }{ 57 }miles-------->\frac{ 3 }{ 57 }gallons\] \[1miles------>\frac{ 3 }{ 57 }gallons\] now we need to find how much gallons are required to travel 133 miles multiply bith sides of equation by 133 \[(1\times 133)miles---->\frac{ 3 }{ 57 }\times 133 gallons\] so 133miles--->7gallons
