A bag of fertilizer covers 2500 square feet of lawn. Find how many bags of fertilizer should be purchased to cover a rectangular lawn 410 feet by 65 feet. Stuck on this .. help me break it down

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

find the area of the lawn A = 410 x 65 then divide the area by 2500 this will give the number of fertiliser bags needed for the lawn

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

if the answer is a decimal, round you answer up to the nearest whole number

I got 10.66 so rouding up would make it... 11? right?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

that's correct, because you can't really purchase 0.666 or 2/3 of a bag, you would have to purchase a whole bag... and then have some left in the shed

yay thanks ! :)
