What is the slope of the vertical line shown in the graph below? 6 1 0 The slope is undefined https://static.k12.com/eli/bb/1211/6_69036/2_36656_1_69037/3d2b8ec456d2f28fe044d54fe6fb40be934894e4/media/3bdb926e8f17df870e769d038d4b603a588dd6d7/mediaasset_1277170_1.jpg
@hartnn
slope of any line is given by the difference in y co-ordinates between any 2 points divided by difference in the corresponding x co-ordinates
for a vertical line, all the points have same x co-ordinate. so difference in x co-ordinates for a vertical line is 0
which means denominator of the slope is 0
when the denominator of any fraction is = 0, it is not defined
so my final answer is the slope is undefined?
yess slope of vertical lines is not defined. and slope of horizontal lines = 0
thnx
welcome ^_^
