It's part of the culture. Every culture has it's own "sound." So to the rest of the world, American/English songs all sound very much like each other too ;)

Not all Mexican songs sound the same. If you don't speak or understand Spanish, they do sound the same. To Spanish speaking people, English music sounds the same. So think of it that way @MikeyMaximum

He didnt say voices. What I think he meant, and Im probably right on this, was the words mostly, but also theinstruments, the beat, just the overall sounds of the music itself.

Try listening to different genes of mexican and spanish music. There ARE different genres, just like here.

It all depends on how well you know the Spanish, if it's Mexican or Latino Spanish, and if it's a male or female artist.
