Choose the equation of the horizontal line that passes through the point (−2, −1). y = −1 y = −2 x = −2 x = −1

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

You need a horizontal line, so you need something like y = something. That something needs to go through the point x=-2 and y=-1. So if you had an equation y=-1, it would be horizontal and also pass through the point (-2,-1). Does that make sense?

So how exactly do I find the answer? Is there a formula? @ybarrap

What is y in the graph above?
