True or false?

@jim_thompson5910

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

also keep in mind that if u = 3x-2, then du/dx = 3 which means du = 3*dx and dx = du/3 = (1/3)*du

OpenStudy (carlyleukhardt):

True im pretty sure.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

@carlyleukhardt it's missing something to be true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What's it missing?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Anyone?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

if it were \[\Large \int_{2}^{3}\frac{1}{3x-2}dx = \frac{1}{3}\int_{4}^{7}\frac{1}{u}du\] then it would be true. Notice how I put the 1/3 in there (scroll up to see how I get this from dx = (1/3)*du)
