Help Me w/ One Question? Will [MEDAL & FAN] (screenshot Of Question Inside)
@Directrix help please..
Buying d DVDs at $10 each and b Books at $6 each and s Songs at $1.00 each. Algebraic Model for Total Cost
Algebraic Model for Total Cost Cost = 10*d + 6*b + 1*s
For 5 DVDs, 4 Books, and 12 Songs, Cost = 10*5 + 6*4 + 1*12 @LetsLearn2000 Crank out the cost and post what you get, okay?
Note: I believe there is a typo on the answer choices. You may need to contact your teacher before making a selection.
Cost = 10*5 + 6*4 + 1*12 @LetsLearn2000 Crank out the cost and post what you get, okay?
ok I got $86.00
Do you think it would be B or D?
@Directrix ?
I agree. But, look at the answer options. I don't know. Option B has the correct cost of $86 but has the wrong algebraic expression. On B, the expression should be 10 d + 6b + 12 s with a cost of $86. That is not what is shown on option B.
True... I'm so indecisive on what to choose. I want to get this question correct. Can you help me w/ another one?
Option D has the wrong algebraic expression. Both th DVDs and Books are wrong although the cost of $86 is correct. So, neither option is correct. It is my conjecture that option B was meant to be the correct answer but somebody left the 12 off what is supposed to be 12s. If I had to select one of the options tonight, I would go with B. Although, it is wrong. If you have time, email the teacher and ask what to do in such a case as this.
Post the next question in a new thread, and I'll try to help.
