OpenStudy (lilday12):

Which of the following statements are true? A. All matter is never a gas. B. All matter has mass. C. All matter takes up space. D. All matter cannot be invisible.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i do believe it's all matter has mass

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but best to check your self :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Matter is simply defined as anything that has mass and occupies space. So option B and C, for your option A, gases have mass and occupy space, so they are indeed matter. However for D, we have neutrinos, they are very small particles that are invisible but they do have an extremely small amount of mass(not sure about that) but there are disputes, since they r so hard to observe, their mass is not accurately calculated and occupy space. So neutrinos are matter even though they are invisible!

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

Hydrogen gas is invisible. So are a lot of gases.
