MEDAL! PLEASE HELP ME!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Question?

OpenStudy (pandagurl):

OpenStudy (pandagurl):

I don't really understand HOW to get the answers.

OpenStudy (pandagurl):

you can chose more than one btw

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmmm

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

Well, you find for each variable and afterwards you determine whether they are positive or negative right?

OpenStudy (pandagurl):

I think so

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I actually haven't gotten there in school so I can't help out on this one. Sorry! :(

OpenStudy (pandagurl):

It's ok, thanks anyway @FluffyYumYum

OpenStudy (pandagurl):

So, how do I find for the variables?

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

The answers are A and C, want me to explain why?

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

woops it's not a. please dont check that off!!

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

It's b and C

OpenStudy (pandagurl):

ok thanks :D Could you explain why so I can know for the future?

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

Sure thing. For B it's \[-12=\frac{ y }{ -3 }\] after thatat we multiply both by -3 and get 36 = y

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

we multipled to remove the fraction from the equation. because no one likes fractions.

OpenStudy (pandagurl):

ok thanks :D

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

do you understand the other on aswell now?

OpenStudy (pandagurl):

yes.
