OpenStudy (hpfan101):

How to find the horizontal and vertical asymptote of the function: \[g(x)=\frac{ 2 }{ x^2+5 }\] using limits?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

well... the vertical asymptotes occur when the denominator zeros out so.... at what values of "x" does the denominator zeros out that is \(\bf x^2+5=0\implies x=?\)

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hmmm ohh.. using limits... hmm so much for the appending there

OpenStudy (hpfan101):

There's no value of x that'd make the denominator zero.

OpenStudy (hpfan101):

But I think I figured this one out.

OpenStudy (hpfan101):

Thanks anyways!
