i can draw it out though
OpenStudy (anonymous):
x is greater than -3 but smaller than -1
OpenStudy (anonymous):
\[-3 \le x \le -1\] you know that the smaller the negative number, the larger it is so don't mind about -8 and-6 cuz it go infinity.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so i disregard the 8? even though it is included
OpenStudy (anonymous):
-8 ***

show me your work.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i got [-8,-1). I dont know how to show my work here...but basically i plotted the numbers in a number line and then shaded the numbers included and then i came up with that answer
OpenStudy (ytrewqmiswi):
|dw:1444111382580:dw|
so taking all the numbers that we have we get this set->[-8,-1)
