Please explain this! (inequality by the way) So for my study guide -7x<42 and when I simplified that I got the solution x<-6 the thing is my study guide says it should be x>-6 I don't understand how they could just flip the inequality sign. Please help, thank you!!

when you multiply or divide by a negative number the sense of the inequality changes

for example \[2<5\] but if you multiply both by \(-2\) you get \[-4>-10\]
