If you were to roll a die, what is the probability of rolling a prime number and an odd number? a. 0 b. 1/2 c. 1/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think the answer is C..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look. actually the problem is easy - you just need to find how many numbers on dice are prime AND odd. these are 3 and 5. So you have only two numbers, which are odd AND prime (not OR).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so yes. it is C.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh! I was adding 1 in with the 3 and the 5 and I kept getting B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no. 1 is not prime.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

np :)
