OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

I said to plz EXPLAIN

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay um... i used a calculater lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*im joking*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay you divid all the numbers by 8 and (B) gets you the closest when rounding to the ones place? IDK how to explain it _ #2

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

@rainbow_rocks03 , Are you either good in dividing or allowed to use calculator ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think mr.poem (or mrs.) has answers

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

Yes I have a calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see thats what i did

OpenStudy (anonymous):

calulator

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

So how do I do it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i give up ask Trojan

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Ok, It says which number must be in the empty place to be divisible by 6 so 272_ replace the _ with 2/ 3 / 8 / 4 then divide it on the calculator over 6 if the result is integer you got it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*head explodes all over computer*

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

for e.x 17. 2722 / 6 = 453.6667 < no 2724 / 6 = 454 ( ok ) 2728 / 6 = 454.6667 ( no ) 2723 / 6 = 453.833 ( no )

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

so like this... 2,722 / 6 ? like that @TrojanPoem ?

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Yeah, but the answer is 4 as it's a right number

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

So for the first one it is 4, ty, will you help me with more?

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

if you can?

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Yeah, I am waiting for you to solve the second.

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Send the solution here.

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

damn loks like you to got this down packed

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

is my answer 4,136?

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

right

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

yay!

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

number 19?

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Divide it by each of the given numbers 3 , 5, 9, 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

17. C- 4 18. C-4136 19. C- 3,9

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

no direct answers

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

59,859 /3 =19953

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

59,859 / 5=11971.8

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

59,859 / 9=6651

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

59,859 / 10=5985.9

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

@rainbow_rocks03 , so which do you think the right numbers are?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry I was going to explain in the next comment, but my computer died. Ok 17= 4 because 2724/6= a whole number 18= 4136 because, once again, it equals a whole number when divided by 8(what their looking for.) 19= 3 & 9 because the number 59859 is divisible by 3 & 9 while remaining whole numbers.

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

right.

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

yay!

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

TY!

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Anytime.

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

I need help with more still though.

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Ok,

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

ok let me post them...

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

You divide the number of days in school / total days

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

180 / 365 ?

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

For example you got 3 marks out of 8 so you got 3/8 of the marks , try with the question

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Right

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

so 180 / 365=0.49315068493151

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Nah, 180/365 = 36/72 ( divide by 5 )

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

divide 36/72 by 5?

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

sorry 36/73

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Your answer is right, but you should write it as a fraction

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

so 36/73 by 5?

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

I meant 180 /5 = 36 , 365 / 5 = 73

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

oh

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

It's like putting it on the calculator.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The Last one: To change a fraction into a mixed number, you say 39/9=? Then, you say ? x 9 = ?? and ?? - 39 = A. Put A over 9, (A/9) and simplify. Then you have a mixed number. :) Btw-sorry if I'm on a different problem than you, just go to this when you need it.

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

@Need-help-k12-user , see what he said. E.x 7/4 = 4 + 3 /4 = 4/4 + 3/4 = 1 + 3/4 = 1.3/4

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

Is that a divide or a fraction?

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Initially, 39/9 ? you can simplify the fraction

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

fraction (1) (nominator : 3 ) / ( denominator : 4 )
