OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

I blieve it's 1 unit up, but not 100% Sure

Nnesha (nnesha):

|dw:1444157355947:dw| original graph for y = IxI

Nnesha (nnesha):

\[\rm f(x-h)\] here h is horizontal shift f(x) + k here k is vertical shift \[\huge\rm y =\left| x-h \right|+k\] if h is negative graph will shift h unit to the right if h is positive graph will shift h unit to the left if k is positive graph shift k unit p if k is negative some unit down

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe it should be shifted left 1 unit. As horizontal shifts are opposite in that + means left and - means right. While in vertical shifts + means up and - means down.

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

@Nnesha So according to what you said, it's C??

Nnesha (nnesha):

yes. number inside the parentheses/absolute bar represent horizontal shift.
