I'll give a medal to whoever can solve this! So... How do I do this math problem? http://oi61.tinypic.com/2ujt7cp.jpg

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

Link didnt take me to the question :(

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

and now it did..

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

so first we would multiply 1/9*x^3 right? so we get 1/9x^3 +89

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what does the symbol next to the fraction mean..then i can help

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

then if we're solving for X we would... 1/9x=-89 (Subtract 89 from both sides) then x^3=-89(9) (multiply both sides by 9 to remove the fraction)

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

x^3=-801

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's not the right answer e.o

OpenStudy (kosonge):

ok so first you would simplify in the first numerals before Adding 89

OpenStudy (kosonge):

so (1/9)x3 which = (Decimal: 0.111111x^{3})

OpenStudy (kosonge):

then you would add 89 so (Decimal: 0.111111x^{3}) + 89 = which should be 89. 333333

OpenStudy (kosonge):

i believe thats it
