*Best Response and medal!) Which property is demonstrated A. 3*5*7=7*5*3 B.(3+5)+7=3+(5+7)
the demonstrated one would be ...A i think becuase it is exactly backwards instead of turned around
You have probably learned the Associative, commutative, and distributive properties. The Commutative property states that the order of the numbers does not matter when multiplying or adding. So based on A. you are multiplying everything and based on B. you are adding everything. This means the order of the numbers do not matter, and as such. Both show the commutative property. The first being the Commutative property of Multiplication and the second being the commutative property of addition.
So, all I need to write in my study guide is they are both commutative property, but one is addition, and the other Multiplication???
