Hi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Sohal Hey (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This graph matches the equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@CShrix I was thinking that, but just wanted to make sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@CShrix Thank you so much!! (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It does want a help full website ?

Directrix (directrix):

Isn't this the graph of y = x + 1 @CShrix

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes. We see that if divide the whole equation by 2 (given that each term is multiplied by a factor of 2) we get x - y = -1. Rearranging, we get x + 1 = y

Directrix (directrix):

So, why is the answer not true?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer is true. The graph matches the equation. Maybe you read too fast ;)

Directrix (directrix):

Fast is fine but accuracy is everything. ~Wyatt Earp :)
