Describe the major sections of the orchestra

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have options?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no thats the question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The four main sections are: strings (violin, viola, cello, double bass) brass (trumpet, trombone, tuba) woodwind (oboe, flute, clarinet, bassoon) percussion (timpani, triangle, cymbal) Individual instruments may be added to each section according to how the composer wrote the music being performed. Hope that helps. :)

2. What is a music parameter? Name and describe the three categories of parameters.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A parameter is something in the music that can be manipulated or changed. The three main parameters to listen for are : Articulation - How long or short notes are played. Dynamics - How loud or soft music is played. Tempo - How fast music is played.
