At what point does translation end? When the ribosome produces a mRNA molecule, translation ends. When the DNA is copied into a mRNA molecule, translation ends. When tRNA molecules attach to a ribosome-mRNA complex, translation ends. When a ribosome reading a mRNA molecule encounters the UAA, UGA, or UAG codon, translation stops.
