Isn't the dimensional analysis refers to the method of cancelling units to solve for what you are looking for?(that's how I describe it, pardon my poor vocab) O.o Do you have a specific problem related to this topic?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i said "cancelling units" because that's what i usually use in chem. example in converting measurements: let's say you have to convert 1500 cm into m. First thing you need to know how many cm are there in m? You know 100 cm = 1 m. Now convert your given value using dimensional analysis: |dw:1444273535645:dw|
