What are two differences between animal cells and the plant cells undergoing mitosis?

OpenStudy (koikkara):

\( Cytokinesis\) is different in plant and animal cells. Cytokinesis divides the cytoplasm to make two daughter cells, each containing one of the new nuclei. ... In plant cells a cell plate forms in the middle of the cell. New plasma membranes and cell walls are laid down along the cell plate to finish dividing the two daughter cells. ... In animal cells a cleavage furrow forms as the middle of the cell pinches in. The pinching continues until the two daughter cells are separated.(ref: Google) @APlusStudent
