R1 = 70 + 25 ( the circle with R1 and circle with 25 has the same tangent when they meet)

ok the arc is an part of a circle. ill use arc then

when two arcs with different radii meet together, for them to have a smooth connection, the tangents of the each arc has to be same.

Sorry i have circled it little bit to the left. refer the below diagram
