In football, a field goal is worth 3 points. Which function rule relates the number of field goals,f,and the number of points, p?

B) p=3f
C) 3+f
D) p=3+f

I kinda think its b because if a field goal is worth 3 points,you multiply each field goal times 3 to get your total points. :/ thats y i think its B

But wouldn't the input be the number of goals you get and the output would be the number of points you get, right?

I am leaning towards B as well.....lets say you score 5 field goals..
p = 3(5)
p = 15

Yea,but each goal is worth 3 points. For instance, if a team scored 4 field goals you would go f3=p (4x3=12 points)
