OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Michele_Laino can you like explain it ?

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

I'm thinking...

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

From your table, I see which the low tide height goes from minimum value which is 1.5 meters to maximum value which is 2.3 meters whereas the high tide height goes from minimum value which is 5.9 meters to a maximum value which is 6.7 meters

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so would that be the answer ? or how would i plantit out beacuse i dont noy understand the question at all

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

we can say, this: the range of low tide height is this interval (1.5, 2.3) the range of high tide height is this interval (5.9, 6.7)

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

please wait I have to rewrite the answer better

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok sure and thanks for helping

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

on Monday, the low tide height goes from 1.5 meters to 1.7 meters, on Tuesday it increases at 1.9 meters and it will remain constant at 1.9 meters. Then on Wednesday it increases at 2.1 meters and it will remain constant to that value. Finally, on Thursday it increases to 2.3 meters and it will remain constant at that value

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

similarly for high tide height

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you explain how you came up with the answe!?

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

on Monday the high tide height is constan at 6.7 meters, then on Tuesday it decreases at 6.5 meters and it will remain constant at that value. So, on Wednesday, it decreases again to 6.3 meters and it will remain constan at that value of 6.3 meters. Finally on Thursday it decreases again to 6.1 meters and it decreases again to 5.9 meters

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

I have written my answers using data from your table

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you very much

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

:)
